Announcing the Return of a Seasonal Winter Shelter

Lake City Partners is thrilled to announce a return to our roots with a seasonal Winter Shelter! Opening mid-November and closely integrated with our GLA Day Center, the shelter will be open seven nights a week with the ability for clients to sign up in advance to reserve a place to sleep.

LCP got its start as a winter shelter that rotated between local churches, and we are incredibly excited to be partnering with our faith communities again. Stay tuned for more information and opportunities.

Funding for this much-needed shelter is thanks to the City of Seattle Government and former City Council Member Cathy Moore for Seattle, who included a proviso for a seasonal winter shelter for District 5, and King County Regional Homelessness Authority who will be administering the funds.

We are tremendously grateful as always to all our public and private partners that enable us to move people from tent to front door. Our work exists because of you!
