Lake City Partners has a vision for a compassionate community that provides universal access to housing.
At Lake City Partners, our mission is to end homelessness by providing shelter and supportive services, so that people have increased opportunities for stabilization, recovery, and permanent housing.
We activate our mission by providing Day Center, Enhanced Shelter, Outreach, and advanced Client Services in the North Seattle/King County area. We work closely with many other organizations, government agencies, and service providers. We encourage our community members to participate in our collective work through volunteering, advocacy, and organizing work.
Since 2015, we have been supporting unhoused people in our community with direct outreach and shelter operations. Our origin story begins with community driven street outreach and a nightly ‘winter shelter’ program during the winter months hosted by area congregations around North Seattle.
Today, our work is a central component of the North Seattle/King County response to homelessness, with 40+ staff and 100s of volunteers/supporters.
We build trusted relationships with people who are experiencing homelessness. We work together with people to overcome their barriers to housing. We end homelessness for people.

Lake City Taskforce on Homelessness & Community Engagement
Since 2005, the Lake City Taskforce on Homelessness, a grass-roots community-based group of volunteers, has been bringing together advocates, faith communities, agencies, neighbors, and people experiencing homelessness. The Lake City Task Force on Homelessness gathers each month (2nd Friday, 3:30 – 5:00pm) in person w/hybrid Zoom to share insights and efforts on ways to address the concerns of homelessness in the Lake City neighborhood. Goals include information sharing, winter shelter coordination, strategizing, visioning, inviting participation, and collaborating. You can join the TaskForce Google Group for more information and meeting details.
As part of our ‘Good Neighbor’ plan we welcome community members to engage with us at the monthly meetings. We also are available to connect with you directly. Reach out to us anytime for more information using our contact form link at the top of the page.
