About the Enhanced Shelter
After 14 years of providing winter shelter to people who are unhoused in North King County with the support of many community partners via the Lake City Taskforce on Homelessness, Lake City Partners is pleased to announce that we have transitioned our winter shelter to a 24/7 Enhanced Shelter at The Oaks in Shoreline. The Oaks will serve 60 unhoused single adults and couples with pets in private rooms with meals provided by Hunger Intervention Program and community volunteers. This new 24/7 location will be a springboard for residents to move into permanent housing. King County and the Cities of Seattle, Shoreline, Bothell, Kenmore and private donors all contribute funding to this effort. Over 600 community volunteers help make this program a success.
Referrals to The Oaks
